We got our new shipment of magazines in, nothing really important outside of the company’s highest selling periodical, the excuse for ogling women–I mean the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. It outsells ALL of the other magazines The Bookstore carries ALL the time. It still baffles me. I thought that maybe the Consumer Reports stuff, or National Geographic may have the top spot but no. It’s this stuff. There are a ton of other magazines that are full of T and A like the SI swimsuit issues and they have more than just the T and A. Articles, reviews on products, and yet this magazine, basically an add for dental floss and tracing paper posing as swimwear outsells every other magazine nationwide. …so of course the The Bookstore renewed the selling contracts and such to continue pulling in that revenue. I can’t really blame them.
