Cardboard Has Many Uses

***I had drawn this comic around 4pm on Thursday (7/19/2012) in preparation for going to see The Dark Knight Rises at midnight and not have to rush home at 4 am and try to draw something. I had no idea that something as terrible as what happened in Colorado was about to transpire within eight hours and I unfortunately found about the shooting only after this comic went up.
I honestly meant no insensitivity or to make light of what took place or even to do a lame “too soon” joke. In the spirit of John’s character (who IS Batman in this comic) his comment was to say that after such a great trilogy about Batman, his life was complete.
I’m sorry if I offended anyone who read this comic.
