Carnage
Holiday music, crowds of irate customers, never ending lines at the registers… Holiday season is the worst. Especially when you start to notice where the loop on the Christmas Muzak station is. If I hear any of the three versions of that stupid “Is that you, Santa Claus?” song, I’m going to die. Or people will. Death is going to happen somewhere.
Those lucky few out there who work in the stockroom are lucky. Blessed even. They can listen to their own music, wear street clothes, and they don’t have to deal with customers. They get through this season with nary a scratch. They know it too.
The countdown continues. 8 more days…. Can we make it?!
