…anyway, we’ve already set up a boatload of Christmas crap on the sales floor. People still haven’t purchased their Halloween costumes yet and we have holiday greeting cards and gift wrap set up in the main aisles of the store. It’s miserable. The grab for more holiday sales is understandable. It’s business. But really, the only reason this is happening is because consumers are actively buying this garbage super early. My holiday spirit taps out around the end of August now. Soon enough we’ll be setting up NEXT year’s holiday displays before THIS year’s holidays are even over.
