So this discount change has taken effect as of now. I can understand the explanation to a certain extent. We may have had some good sales in the cafe department but the back end has been kicking our back end. Way too much on waste log lists at the end of every night and everyone’s extended family using the employee discount has added up to a lot of missing profits.
It didn’t help that those in charge of the supply line for cafe items can only merchandise CRAPPY food. All the good stuff has gone the way of Borders and that is always a sad, sad thing to see in the bake case.
Seriously, bring back that delicious cream puff and the cafe sales will SPIKE!
