It never fails. We have our morning meeting right before we open the store and…the first customer tries to break a $100 bill by purchasing a newspaper. We count out our register tills to have a very specific amount of cash when we open. We don’t typically have thousands of dollars sitting around in small bills sitting at the register. Do customers not know of these places called “Banks” where a lot of money is held and changed from hand to hand. They are more than willing to make change, they get paid to do it. I bet it’s part of a bank teller’s job description even.
