Heartwarming
The comic for today was inspired in part by an email I got from Aaron: “I had a customer once insist that such a thing as No Fear Shakespeare Pride and Prejudice existed. Even after I assured her that Shakespeare didn’t write Pride and Prejudice and that maybe she meant the Sparks Notes version, she proceeded to ask if Borders might have it.”
We’ve all had to deal with insistent ignorance before, but when it’s mixed with verbal abuse it wears thin very quickly. Mix that all up with the fact that my store is connected to a mall and we have large, clear windows, people run into them a lot. And people also can’t seem to read the push/pull signs very well…
