A lot of these Lego sets are ruining movies for me. Yes, I understand building a set of Lego bricks to relive the awesome moments in movies and TV and books is a huge part of the appeal, but could they maybe NOT show us all the awesome stuff until way after we’ve experienced them? Seeing Giant Man in Lego form took some of the steam out of Civil War for me. It was a great reveal, but through that whole scene I was waiting for it to happen, not having a fun surprise unfold before me.

Spoilers are good for those who WANT them. Having a Lego toy set spoil a fun moment in a movie is almost as painful as stepping on a Lego piece in the middle of the night while making your way to the bathroom. You’ll survive, but you’ll also curse the very existence of Lego and all the have wrought.
