Managerial Sympathy
I’ve had managers like this in the past. When you have to deal with them, you really wish you had that awesome manager that left you behind. And when you have that awesome manager no matter how awesome it is in the present, there’s that nagging feeling in the back of your mind saying, “This won’t last forever and you’re going to wind up with another Lark.” It’s hard to completely relax in either case.
