Micromanagement is one of the worst things a human can do. Let’s hear what Harlan has to say about it:

“I no longer work in a bookstore. I work at a help desk now and we got a new supervisor last year. Since their arrival, they has created so many restraints that we need their approval for almost every call. Plus this supervisor has a tendency to make up their own words. The closest retail analogy I can think of is needing a manager approval for all customer purchases, but the manager can’t even know what the purchase is. It makes me wish there was a book called an idiot’s guide to not being an idiot and it could be anonymously sent to my supervisor.”

Harlan, I’m really sorry you have to deal with that human. Micromanagement SUCKS.
