The Management
We have all had the bad manager, we’ve all had the really awesome manager. Sometimes we get the worst of the worst: The Idiot manager. Someone who SOMEHOW got into a position of power despite the obvious lack of intelligence or skill. The Peter Principle is fairly well known, but I’d like to coin the term The Beulah Factor. No matter how skilled you are, an idiot will get the job you could have had first.
Also, yes. Beulah did indeed do those very things spoken of in the comic. To this day I still wonder how she got her job.
