Time Of Year
I fielded at least ten of these calls the other day. School is ending and signing up for classes for the next semester is commencing. These are always the phone calls of people who have never shopped at a bookstore before. They don’t know any difference to what a college bookstore is compared to a retail bookstore. We don’t carry textbooks as a rule. They’re expensive and students are poor. Thievery is something we take seriously here and we have to fend off enough of the EMT and N-CLEX hopefuls for them to BUY their study guides, there’s no way we’re going to carry your obscure sociology textbook that costs three hundred dollars. That’s just silly.
