Time Off
There have been a few recent episodes of me being able to take a random day off here or there from my jobs, and getting back into the swing of things can be extremely difficult. I know I’ve been working for The Bookstore for a long, long while, but I still have those odd moments of asking myself, “How does this thing go again?”
I’ve taken long vacations and come back to work just fine outside of the whole Wishing I Was Still On Vacation type of mentality. But when it’s only a day off outside of the normal schedule I find myself lost. Maybe my mind was stuck in the I Don’t Have To Work phase that happens at the beginning of regular holiday excursions and I never got to have that Last Day Of Vacation thought process to go through in such a short amount of time…
