I’m sure we’ve all had this customer once or twice. The one with hopeful looks at first, then the customer turns indignant, refuses to accept that the book they want is out of print and demands you check the stockroom. We are only too happy to oblige, if only to get away from them. If you’re lucky also, you’ll have one of the cool managers see what’s going on and understand why you’re taking so long to “find” the book.
