Backseat Manager
I got a great email from Mariah a few days ago that inspired this comic. From Mariah:
“I work in the cafe. We have an selling acronym F.U.N. Food first, upsell, name on cup. We NEVER use it. Our manager will creepily stand behind the cafe server and when all the customers are gone (which, might I add, he doesn’t bother to help you with) he’ll be like “So, why didn’t you use FUN for that last customer?” To which I respond a number of ways…
He will also just stand and watch you ring up customers and ask what you think you could’ve done better. Ugh.”
