Home Office has a habit of, if not outright lies, lies of omission. We have yet to hear anything regarding why they’re cutting hours back so drastically despite good sales figures and achieving hiring sales compared to years past.
I’m sure there were reasons as to why they cut positions and it would have been nice to hear them. Eliminating jobs sucks, and from the business side of things if those jobs aren’t bringing in the dollars it’s justifiable to them to drop those positions.
I don’t see how they can justify scaling payroll back to a point that we are unable to stay on task. Shelving is backed up, displays aren’t being set, the whole toys and games reset is taking far longer than one overnight project…
There’s always that mindset in business of Do More With Less, but it’s getting awfully close to Do More With Nothing.
