You’ve got tons of projects to do, you have to change out an endcap display AND an octagon table by the end of your shift, and customers won’t stop bugging you!
It may have something to do with you making eye contact. I’ve seen coworkers through the years avoid looking into customer’s eyes and walk right past. It was magic!
