Face To Face
Hooray for technology and whatever, yeah. If it weren’t for that technology stuff, it would be harder to get people to read my comic here. Thanks, technology! I am worried however that with devices such as the NÜK and iPhones and Droids and products of that ilk, with the texting options and music playing capabilities, netflix streaming, etc., people will soon forget how to communicate face to face. The fact that there are real people out there that aren’t laughing but actually saying “LOL!” is kind of frightening.
It’s a vicious cycle too. I get angry at what’s happening to the social aspect of life which in turn causes people to avoid me and turn to their phones to text their friends, “ZOMG! Crazy guy @ the bookstore!” With a follow up tweet saying that they’re the king of Booksellers at Westgate in Foursquare.
