Follow These Simple Steps
I don’t know about the rest of the stores, but from what I was told, we don’t put up those flimsy cardboard displays anymore. I’ve heard that the displays are sent by the publisher and that they’ve paid a bit extra or something for the floorspace… I could be wrong though.
Those corrugated displays do clutter up everything and usually we’re not given enough books to keep a full display for it, leaving an ugly asymmetrical mess of cardboard and mass market paperbacks. They’re also another dumping area for lazy customers.
For whoever made the decision to do away with those lousy displays, thanks!
