It Always Happens
Doesn’t it always feel like this happens to you? Coworkers standing around at their register or chilling at the customer service desk, nothing to do. No customers asking them for anything. You have a project you’re working on, you have armfuls of books you’re shifting from one display or section to another and the one customer who comes into the store looking for something walks past all of those people who don’t have anything to do, walks straight up to you at your busiest moment and wants to know if you can find that one book. You know, the one that was on that show the other day? It looked about this big and had a gray cover with gold letters on it.
