Loophole
The managers at my store all went through the Harassment Training Video thing recently. Hearing what they had to watch and what was presented as harassment and what was just determined “not harassment,” they all came to the same conclusion. They can legally call someone stupid because the video explained that that was just rude. I’m sure there have already been repercussions. Maybe another training video about being more tactful and thinking the best of others? Thumper from Disney’s “Bambi” could be their spokesman. But I’m certain it still wouldn’t help matters. We all work in retail. We’ve seen too much to have a high opinion of humanity and individual intelligence.
