No It Really Is
I got an email recently from Erin, who just became a head cashier. Keep up the good work! The email detailed basically what you see in the comic today. Here’s the exerpt:
“Not sure if you’ve ever touched on this but my biggest pet peeve is when a customer calls and says they’re looking for a textbook. And when I say, “I’m sorry we don’t carry textbooks”, all of a sudden they stammer out “OH! you know what it’s not a textbook.” “Okay, what’s the name?” “Well it’s just called ‘Math’ and it has like 17 different authors.” All that does is waste our time just because they can’t handle a simple no.”
