I had a coworker tell me about this happening to them when the color version of the Nük was new. The customers son got some quiet time with the device and whatever site he went to took over the homepage for when the web browser was booted up.
It’s a big selling point for people to say that an e-reader has wi-fi access and internet browsing. Some people tend to forget that there aren’t any parental controls for what was viewable on their Nük. So yeah, get some password protection on your home networks!
