Say Again
I got an email from long lost, and very cool, co-worker Cambri saying: “even though my bookselling days are over, I still relish the humor of ridiculous store policies, crazy customers, and the good, the bad, and the ugly people you work with every day.”
She also remembered a certain customer she helped, which is what today’s comic is based off of. She recounts: “I always remember one customer I helped out during my first semester of college. It was the beginning of the semester and this guy walks up to the CS desk and in a very quiet voice asks if I can help him find a book. He’s not trying to whisper or anything, but is talking so quietly and mumbling so I have to have him repeat the title three times before I finally make out “The Natural Born Speaker.”
