There were a lot of grumblings about switching to paper bags at my store. Plenty of people happy with the change, a lot of people complained too. The issue I take with it is the plastic shopping bags were perfect for emptying used cat litter into. Once finished you can tie the whole thing in a knot and chuck it in the garbage. Paper bags don’t fold too easily, and the bags we have tear as soon as you look at them.
