The Visit
It never fails. They never show up when they say they do, they arrive right when you’re not ready. Well, certain managers are never ready. I’ve seen stores run just fine and store managers handle things in a perfectly reasonable manager. Some resign themselves to the knowledge that no matter how well the store looks, the regional/district manager is going to find something they don’t like and want it changed.
Lark is based off the type of manager that sweats bullets no matter how much lead up time is given. With that type of guy running a store sometimes the best thing to do is sit back and watch. Lies shoot up from out of nowhere, blame is placed on all but himself, false promises given, claims of vacation…. One wonders how much longer this guy will stay on payroll.
