Uncomfortable Familiarities
Having worked or visited 10 odd Booksellers locations throughout the years has given me a good idea that no two Booksellers are alike, UNLIKE Walgreens. I’ve walked into many a Walgreens and found the layout exactly the same no matter which state I was in at the time.
I can’t help but feel that the return of a much hated manager to a store that manager previously managed would go poorly. Hearing from someone who was lucky enough to transfer away from where this happened, the store was drowning in calls to that Listen Hotline. A lot of people jumped ship. High turnover. Didn’t sound fun in the least.
